Colorator Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

Colorator is a coloring app for Android and iOS. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and who else receives it. Colorator has no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.

Your photos and drawings

When you color or sketch your own photo, you pick it yourself from your gallery. The photo is turned into a coloring page on your device and stored only in the app's private storage, together with your progress, sketches and Studio books. We do not upload your photos, drawings or books to our servers. They leave your device only when you share, print or export them yourself, and then they go only where you send them.

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your device.

Picture library

The app downloads library pictures, their search words and the list of promo codes from our website, which is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic request details in order to deliver the files. When you enter a promo code, it is checked on your device; the code itself is not sent anywhere.

Advertising

If you don't have Pro, the app offers optional short videos (for example, to unlock a picture or get more hints). These videos are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, general device information and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. You can also reset or turn off your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Analytics and crash reports

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used (for example, which screens are opened, when a picture is finished or a book is printed) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports (device model, system version, app version and the technical details of the error). This information is tied to a random app instance ID, not to your name or contact details, and we use it only to improve the app. Google processes it on our behalf.

Purchases

Colorator Pro subscriptions and key packs are sold through Google Play or the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Google or Apple; we never see your payment details. The app only learns which subscription is active on your store account and which key packs you bought. Google Analytics for Firebase records purchases (product, price) together with the other app events described above. Subscriptions are managed and canceled in Google Play or the App Store.

Device permissions

Children

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can change your ad consent in Settings → Privacy choices, reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings, and delete all app data by uninstalling the app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you; write to us and we will help, including with requests to Google about data it processes for us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
